Being an ISD student, Textiles Innovation wasn't necessarily the obvious choice to make when choosing my TOP. However I saw this as a great opportunity to learn about materiality within a fabric context. Ultimately I feel that being aware of various fibres and their functions (from TOP), combined with a knowledge of more conventional construction materials (from ISD) will provide me will a well rounded education on materiality.
